About

How's it going?! I'm Salvador, a Master's student in Computer Science at The University of Texas at Austin. I've interned twice as a Software Engineer at Google and once as a Machine Learning Engineer at Uber, and I enjoy doing research! So far I've published six peer-reviewed papers as a first author (going from Theoretical ML to Fairness and Responsible AI). I hold dual bachelor's degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics from The University of Texas at El Paso.

Research interests: Natural Language Processing, Agentic AI, Responsible AI, and Fairness.

Hobbies: Soccer, chess, weightlifting, reading Dostoevsky (favorite: The Brothers Karamazov), and sustainable gardening.

Muscle Growth in Motion

Maximizing muscle growth isn't just about lifting heavy, it's about doing each rep with the right tempo, form, and range of motion (ROM). There has been trend on systems for workout feedback and assistance, but most of the existing systems focus entirely on form, overlooking other key aspects that affect hypertrophy and injury risk.

Multi-Agent Evolutionary Computation

We provide a systematic approach to enhancing multi-agent systems by integrating principles from Evolutionary Computation and leveraging the capabilities of Large Language Models (LLMs). In our framework, LLM agents act as independent evolutionary operators, facilitating the creation and iterative refinement of solutions.
